Tarrant County Desk is an independent local-news publication. We are not affiliated with Tarrant County government, any city government, school district, or political party.
Story tips
Email the desk at newsroom@tarrantcountydesk.com. For sensitive tips, mention "encrypted" in the subject line and we'll respond with our current secure-contact options (Signal, ProtonMail, or SecureDrop, depending on the cycle).
We follow up on every tip we receive. If you don't hear back within five business days, write again — your message may not have reached us.
Corrections
Send correction requests to corrections@tarrantcountydesk.com. Include the URL of the story, the specific passage, the correction you believe is needed, and any source you can point us to. We respond to every correction request, whether or not we make the change.
Public-records pointers
If you have a public-records request that involves a Tarrant County entity and you'd like a reporter to know about it, the request itself is the story we want to help with. We are happy to coordinate timing or to file a parallel request when appropriate.
